St Gervais, France

St Gervais is a beautiful spa town with baroque inspired architecture that has been attracting visitors since 1806, when the healing properties of the local spring water were first discovered. Today you can still swim in the healing spa waters of St Gervais' famous thermal parc at Le Fayet - now over 200 years old. St Gervais is a traditional French alpine town with many shops bars and restaurants including two Michelin starred establishments. To fully appreciate the mountain views we recommend taking the The Mont Blanc tramway to access the Bionnassay glacier. From the top there are fantastic views down the Chamonix Valley.

The town's spectacular location at the foot of the Mont Blanc Mountain and between the internationally renowned ski resorts of Chamonix and Megeve, have also made it a popular destination for winter and summer sports enthusiasts and mountaineers.

St Gervais is located in the centre of the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, France's third largest ski domain with over 440km of interlinked pistes including Megeve, Combloux, St Nicolas de Veroce, Les Contamines and Bettex.

Access from the centre of St Gervais via the large gondola takes you directly to the ski areas of Bettex with its ESF ski school, Mont Arbois ski area and the Folie Douce après ski venue.
