Chalet Big Bear, Argentiere, France

Chalet Big Bear is one of the most comfortable chalets in Argentiere. Located at the end of the private Chemin des Quarts it has a wonderfully secluded position and offers guests stunning mountain views from the sitting room and also the large west facing sun deck. The village centre of charming Argentiere is just 2 - 3 minutes' walk away, the route winding its way through the pretty back streets and past the old church. The Office Bar, Bureau des Guides and the main street of Argentiere can all therefore be reached within just a few minutes on foot.

The main cable car station is a bit further away but you can access the cross country trail at the back of the village and skate/push your way to the Grands Montets cable car station within 10-15 minutes of leaving the chalet. Alternatively the free resort bus service which runs to and from the lift station stops in the centre of Argentiere.

Chalet Big Bear offers over 280 square metres of internal space which has been fitted out, furnished and styled to very high standards. There are five en-suite bedrooms including the top floor master double with walk-in closet. One of the bedrooms has a single bed above it which can accommodate an 11th guest.

Chalet Big Bear enjoys spectacular south-west facing views, ensuring lots of sunshine in March and April and fantastic panoramic vistas of the famous Mont Blanc and Les Grands Montets mountains along with their spectacular glaciers.

Chalets Zenith 1 and Zenith 2, the sister properties to Chalet Big Bear, are found directly next door. All three chalets can therefore be rented together for groups of 35-40 guests.
