Chalet 1550 in Courchevel Village (formerly known as Courchevel 1550 - hence the chalet name) punches well above its weight with regards the quality of interior finish and chalet facilities. Let's start with the chalet spa which provides a swimming pool, gym, sauna and massage/treatment room. The relaxation area beside the pool provides ample space to sit and watch children play and the sauna with its starlight ceiling offers an extra sensory experience.
the bedrooms are extremely comfortable and each has en-suite modern bath or shower room. The sitting room has a funky central fireplace which is viewed from both sides and comfortable sofas. The views from the large windows frame incredible mountain views.
The chalet is located just off the Route des Brigues close to the edge of the piste which leads down from Courchevel 1850 to the 'front de neige' of Courchevel Village. It is not quite ski in ski out but access to and from the skiing is very easy with just a short walk to the edge of the piste. The resort centre is also easily reached with an easy stroll.
