Chalet Eden, Courchevel 1850, France

Luxury Chalet Eden in Courchevel is situated 300 metres from the resort centre and just 230 metres from the slopes. With 254 square metres of living space it is not the largest luxury chalet in Courchevel to sleep 10 guests but it more than makes in style what it lacks in size.

There is a very smart indoor swimming pool on the -2 level. Also on this level are the steam room, massage room and relax/lounge area with small bar and a TV. On the -1 level there is a fully equipped ski and boot room and also a laundry room. The entrance level (level 0) has a main hall and also three bedrooms, each with 'walk-in' shower and wc. The wonderful living room is on level +1 and this has an ethanol burning fireplace. Also on this level is a dining room, fully equipped kitchen and 3D TV. On the uppermost floor (+2) is the master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with separate shower and also a 5th bedroom with shower and wc.

The chalet exudes style and charm, effortlessly combining modern finishes and materials with warm wood panelling and a decor which is sympathetic to the alpine surroundings.

Courchevel is quite deservedly a world-class resort - it has slopes to suit all standard of skier which are accessed by a very impressive lift system. With gentle runs leading down into the resort centre it is possible to ski back to many hotels and chalets. Courchevel has the most extensive and varied ski area of the whole Trois Vallees with everything from long gentle greens to steep couloirs.

There are some great world class restaurants in Courchevel 1850. Chalets and hotels also give access to excellent shopping and very good apres ski by French standards. Snow reliability is superb all season as most of the valley faces north and the ski schools, of which there are several, are very good as is the popular Village des Enfants situated in the centre of the resort.
