Chalet Tyrosolios, Meribel, France

Chalet Tyrosolios in Meribel is an enormous 1,000 square metre chalet situated in the Raffort area of resort, just 400 metres from the Olympe gondola lift. At the end of the day it's possible to ski back to within 300 metres of the chalet on the itinerary ski run (conditions permitting and not suitable for beginners) so the chalet is actually quite conveniently located.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms. One is a family room with connected small children's single room (sofa bed) and through that is the shared shower room. The second bedroom is a children's triple room (please note that space is tight). There are no en-suite facilities but the shower and wc for the spa area (sauna and steam room) can be used. Also on this level is a large bar and relax area with TV screen as well as a 22 seat cinema room!

The garden floor above has a professionally equipped kitchen (staff can be hired for full chalet catering) and an L shaped sitting room and open plan dining area. There is access from this room to a very large terrace and also the covered swimming pool that comes with a flow jet, ambient lighting, whirlpool spa, cascading shower and tropical seating area with exercise bike and two massage chairs.

The second floor has two very large bedroom suites. One suite has a bedroom connected to a sitting room with single bed, each room has its own en-suite facilities. The other suite consists of a twin/double with en-suite shower room connected to another double bedroom with its own shower room also. On the uppermost floor there is a master double bedroom with balcony. This room has a walk-in wardrobe and a large en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and wc.

All levels are connected with a lift.
