Ferme 1779 is a large freestanding property near the centre of charming St Martin de Belleville. This former old farmhouse offers generous amounts of space (300 square metres total internal area) and lovely far-reaching views down the Belleville valley. Recently enlarged and modernised this chalet now combined old world charm with modern comforts and amenities.

On the lower floor is a smart sauna and hammam with Italian style shower and relaxation area. Whilst on the terrace sits a Nordic hot tub.

There are six main guest bedrooms sleeping 10 x adults and up to 5 x children in a large bedroom with three single beds and a set of bunk beds.

The large open plan kitchen, dining and living room takes up the entire 3rd floor and is organised around a central fireplace. The decor combines the time-honoured local materials of larch and slate with contemporary materials such as Corian, steel and glass to strike a balance between tradition and modernity.

The chalet is located on the quiet mostly pedestrian Route de la Demontagnee and the walk to the main square with its baroque church, local shops and restaurants is just 3 minutes. Here you will also find the village drag lift that then accesses the main gondola station and the entire Three Valleys ski area.

Walking just three minutes in the other direction will take you to the new aqua centre (due to open January 2025) with its indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, hammam and restaurant.
