Apartment Chartreuse, Val d'Isere, France

Apartment Chartreuse is located behind the historic centre of Val d'Isere and is only a short walk from the shops in one direction, and the Solaise Express lift station and ski school meeting points in the other. It is also possible to ski-in and ski-out of the apartment, with a piste running behind the apartment. Returning from the Solaise Mountain skiers and boarders can take the Piste L towards the bottom of the Laisinant chairlift and from there pick up the 'traverse du Laisinant' which passes the chalet.

The entrance to the apartment is on the first floor and this offers three of the four guest bedrooms. The large master double bedroom has a free-standing bath in the centre of the room, as well as a shower and separate wc. There are a further two guest bedrooms on this floor, both either twin or double. One with an en-suite shower room and the other with en-suite bathroom. Please note that when the bedrooms are configured as twins there is a limited space between the beds. All the bedrooms on this floor have flat screen TV and access to a wrap-around balcony.

The upper floor of the property has a stunning open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The double height ceiling space allows for extra-large windows giving 180 degree views of the Solaise Mountain and its slopes. The sitting room has real 'wow' factor as well as a stone wood-burning fireplace which completes the traditional chalet ambience.

Both the living area and dining table can comfortably seat eight guests. The spacious well equipped kitchen looks over the dining area and there is a breakfast bar. Tucked behind the staircase is a cosy separate TV snug which is perfect for children as a place to watch a movie while adults are gathered in the main sitting room.
