Apartment Grand Pre 4, Val d'Isere, France

The Chalet Apartment Grand Pre 4 is one of four properties that make up the new Grand Pre development in the Legettaz area of Val d'Isere. The ski and boot room can be accessed directly from the piste (when skiing down from the Solaise Mountain) and in the morning it's a simple ski down to the ski school meeting points and main lifts.

The 140 square metre penthouse apartment is accessed via the 3rd floor and on this level guests will find the main open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area. There is one small guest bedroom on the same floor as the sitting room. On the next level there are two guest bedrooms and on the very top floor is the master double bedroom.

The apartment gives a wonderful sense of space as a result of its double height ceilings and large windows. The views from the sitting room through huge windows frame a surreal moonlit mountain landscape by night and flood the chalet with light during the day. Reclaimed wood panelled walls and ceilings ensure the interior space is warm and timeless. A ladder leads up to a small reading area on the mezzanine level.

The apartment is very comfortable with a strong traditional ski chalet ambience. A wood-burning fireplace is the focal point of the sitting room area and is surrounded by a large sofa with plenty of comfy seating. From the sitting room area guests will drink in the dramatic mountain views through large windows and two sets of double glass doors which lead onto the balcony. In the warmer spring months, this balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the afternoon sunshine.

Guests staying at Apartment Grand Pre 4 have shared access to the spa area on the residence's first floor (shared with three other apartments). Here you will find a heated swimming pool with flow jet swim current and submerged jet spa. The sauna completes the well-being area - perfect for indulging tired muscles at the end of the day.
