San Cassiano, Italy

San Cassiano is one of the six separate villages of the Alta Badia ski region. It is set in some of the most stunning mountain scenery of the South Tyrol. The skiing around San Cassiano is varied and suits all levels of skiing ability.

The position of the resort is very central to the Sella Ronda ski circuit and the valleys of the Dolomite resorts radiate out from the resort base. The Marmolada glacier towers over the surrounding peaks and is easily reached via the resorts of Arabba and the Porto Vescovo cablecar.

For luxury ski holidays the 5 star Hotel Rosa Alpina is by far the best choice.

San Cassiano gives easy access to one of the best ski descents in the whole region, the 'hidden valley' run. The famous Gran Risa Mens' Giant Slalom FIS World Cup run at La Villa is one of the most challenging slalom tracks on the circuit with 448m of vertical drop.
